Analytical Skills
Line-item budget reviews, payroll validation, and cleaning up ADA address data.
Problem
Budget accuracy, payroll data integrity, and address data quality for the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) department all needed rigorous, ongoing scrutiny — the kind of detail work that's easy to skip under time pressure but expensive to get wrong.
Role
Owns the annual budget analysis, acts as a second set of eyes on payroll data, and led a data-quality initiative for ADA records.
Action
Conducts a full line-item budget review every year rather than simply rolling over the prior year's numbers, identifying opportunities for cost savings and reallocation. Reviews team-submitted payroll analysis reports to catch discrepancies, calculation errors, or anomalies. Spearheaded a standardized quarterly cleanup procedure for ADA address data to catch inconsistencies and duplicate entries.
Outcome
A well-informed, optimized annual budget; more reliable payroll data across the organization; and cleaner, regulation-compliant ADA records with a repeatable process to keep them that way.
